Discover IP Japan 2019

In the fiscal year of 2019, the Japan Patent Attorneys Association sent four delegation teams to Chicago (IL), Minneapolis (MN), Troy and Ann Arbor (MI), and Los Angeles (CA). They were welcomed by the local associations: the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC), the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA), the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA), and the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association (LAIPLA), and enjoyed the local hospitalities. In the respective seminars, the practices of Japanese intellectual properties such as patents, designs, and trademarks were explained, which may familiarize the attendees with Japanese intellectual properties so as to facilitate obtaining them.
